Blood Transfusion. . . . . .

8am Blood transfusions are not much fun, but when I arrived all I saw was Julian's eyes peeking out his hoody and under his Sacred Heart Stocking cap that was a gift from his school. His face has gotten quite chubby from the Predisone that is part of the battery of up to 9 meds he is on right now. The steroid is responsible for the ravenous appetite that he has. Julian actually gained 5 pounds last week alone! I hope he is enjoying it because when he comes off it he will be losing all the weight that he puts on. Next week we all get tested to see if any of us can be the donor match for his BMT. I am saying my prayers that one us will be a match.
