Ms. Gena McReynolds (Julian's teacher last year at Sacred Heart School) is organizing a wonderful group of Parents and Students for the Light the Night Walk at Green Lake to raise money and awareness of leukemia and lymphoma.
Here is her message:
"Dear Team Small But Mighty!!
Saturday is the Light the Night Walk at Green Lake to raise money and awareness of leukemia and lymphoma. Registration begins at 5:30, with a Remembrance Ceremony at 6:00, and the Walk at 7:00. Tents will be set up in the field behind the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N). The Walk is just around the lake once. It will be twilight. Should be beautiful! What a wonderful way to honor such an amazing young man!
Those that would like to carpool, let’s meet at SHS at 4:30. Let me know if that is your plan so we don’t leave without you! We will fit everyone in the least amount of cars. If you are going straight to Green Lake, let’s meet up as a team. Try to wear purple (Julian’s favorite color) if you can. Craig Larsen, Julian’s dad, would like to get some pictures of us before the Walk. Below is a link to the site with more information and maps.

Below is our team page. You can see that we are 21 strong on our team and have raised $530 so far. I know several people have raised funds that they will turn in on Saturday. Let’s try to raise $1000! Others can click on a name on this page and donate that way.

Bless you all for your wonderful support of time and efforts . . . . . .
